** All of the 3 bedroom - 3 bath units (5M2, 7M2, 8M2, 35M2, 39M2) are actually a combination of a motel unit and a large 2 bedroom - 2 bath unit. During most of the summer these units are rented only as 3 bedroom - 3 bath units. Otherwise , an interior door can be closed and the units can be rented separately. An explanation of the numbering system is as follows: Locate #5 on the map. Then look at the rate chart for more “specific” numbering and prices. 5M refers to the Motel Unit, 5 refers to the 2 bedroom portion of the unit. And, 5M2 refers to the motel AND 2 bedroom unit combined as a 3 bedroom - 3 bath unit.

Children under the age of 1 year do not count toward the capacity of the unit. However, children 1 year and older are included when calculating the total number of people. Most of the units have hide-abeds to accommodate the capacity of the unit. However, be advised that hide-a-beds are uncomfortable and provide a minimum of support. We do not recommend them for adults. In order to prevent overcrowding and ensure the enjoyment of all our guests, no more than capacity will be allowed in any unit.

RESERVATIONS: From June 6 to August 8 advance reservations are accepted in multiples of 7 days only. Arrival and departure on Saturdays only. Before June 6 or after August 8, advance reservations are accepted for a minimum of 2 days or more with arrival and departure on any day of the week A minimum of 3 nights is required for advance reservations on Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day weekends. Reservations can be made no more than one year in advance. Current guests are always given the first opportunity to re-book their own unit for the following year. Reservations during the summer for less than a week will be considered 30 days prior to arrival date, if available. Reservations can be made by phone (573) 374-7992, or by email, loneoak@loneoakpoint.com  Current guests are always given the first opportunity to rebook their own unit for the following year.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT: A two night deposit must accompany all reservations. Reservations for more than one week require a two night deposit for each week. A three night deposit is required for the Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day weekends. A telephone or e-mail reservation will be held for 14 days pending receipt of deposit. We accept personal checks, money orders, travelers checks, cash and credit cards as deposit for reservations. We prefer to not accept credit cards for deposit unless arrival is within 2 weeks, in which case, only credit cards will be accepted for deposit. Payment of the balance is due in full upon arrival and there is no refund for early departures. Taxes will be added to all rentals, and rates for the next year’s reservation are subject to change.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Any reservation made in the previous year may be cancelled through January of the subsequent year with a 100% refund of the deposit. After January and up to 30 days prior to arrival, if a cancellation occurs, 80% of the deposit will be refunded. If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, a refund of one night (less cleaning fees, if applicable) will be given ONLY IF the unit can be re-rented for the same time frame. If not, the deposit will be forfeited. Please try to be as accurate as possible when booking your visit and try not to book more days than you intend to stay or a larger unit than you need.

GROUP DEPOSITS/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: As with individual reservations, a two-night deposit must accompany all reservations. However, with family groups collectively renting more than three units, payment of the entire balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment is preferred in the form of a check or money order. A NOTICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO ADVISE YOU OF THE BALANCE DUE. IF PAYMENT IN FULL IS NOT RECEIVED 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND WE HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF A CANCELLATION, WE WILL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION, AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED. If final payment has been made in full and a cancellation occurs within the last 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund 6 days of the deposit, less any additional cleaning fees, only if we are able to re-rent the unit for the same time frame. You are responsible to notify us in writing in the event of a change in address so that the notice of balance due is received by you.

CHECK IN, CHECK OUT & HALF DAY RENTALS: CHECK IN TIME IS 4:00 p.m. In order to allow time for cleaning and repairs, NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED IN ANY UNIT BEFORE 2:00 p.m. Late arrivals (after 6:00 p.m.) should notify the office in advance so instructions can be given. If the office has not been notified of a late arrival and it is determined that the unit was not occupied the night of the scheduled arrival, we will assume that the reservation has been canceled. This decision will be made by 9:00 a.m. the morning following the scheduled arrival. In this case, the deposit will be forfeited, and the unit will be re-rented, if possible. CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:30 a.m. Guests must leave the resort property upon checking out. Use of resort facilities after checking out is not allowed. For those guests who wish to stay later than 10:30 a.m. or arrive early, we offer a half day rate in the same unit, IF the unit is available. Half day rentals must be arranged in advance.

PETS: NO PETS are allowed from Friday of Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. Pets are allowed in some units in the off-season only and must be approved in advance by the office. All pets must be on a leash on the resort grounds, must not be allowed on the furniture or beds, and must not be left in a unit unattended. Owners are responsible to clean up after their pets. ANYONE FOUND WITH AN UNAUTHORIZED PET OR NOT CONFORMING TO OUR RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO REFUND. We strongly recommend that you place your pet in a kennel or with a friend. Pet owners will be responsible for any damages caused by their pets.

VISITORS: Our units and recreation facilities are designed to accommodate registered guests only. Visitors are allowed to stay two hours and must check in at the office. Visitors are not permitted to use docks, pools or other facilities without approval. These guidelines are established to prevent overcrowding of the facilities.

TELEPHONES & INTERNET: We do not have telephones in our units. The office phone is answered during office hours and messages are posted on the message board at the entrance to the office. Emergency messages will be delivered as quickly as possible. Wi-Fi and a computer are available at the office.

BOAT STALL ASSIGNMENTS, LAUNCHING & TRAILER PARKING: To be assured a stall, boat stalls need to be
reserved in advance. Although we do our best to accommodate requests for specific stalls, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE A
SPECIFIC BOAT STALL LOCATION. Second stalls will be assigned only if one is available after each separate unit requesting a
stall has been accommodated. We do not allow trailers to be parked on the grass or by the units. Boat trailer parking is
located on the resort premise on the far side of the tennis court. Boats are launched at the Shawnee Bend Public Access, which
has four ramps, and is located about 200 yards from the resort on Route TT.
